Clive Ashworth
Founder, Principal & CEO
With a lifetime dedicated to mineral exploration, Clive Ashworth began his career in British Columbia before founding his own exploration contracting firm. His work has spanned North America, South America, and parts of Africa, providing services to both junior and major mining companies.
Prescient in the industry, Clive has consistently been ahead of commodity booms, demonstrating a remarkable ability to be in the right place at the right time. As CEO of GeoXplor, he leads the company’s strategic direction and is the driving force behind its deal-making initiatives. He resides in West Vancouver, Canada.
John graduated from the University of Oregon with a M.Sc. in Geology in 1971, and had spent most of his life-time in mineral exploration. Prospecting, program management, mining, mine rehab, and mill building were all part of his 55 year career. There are very few geologists today who have had such a rich and diversified career as his, that can also put their name to at least 20 producing mines in the South West, USA. In the last 10 years of his career, John became one of the worlds experts in lithium brine exploration and development in the USA, particularly Clayton Valley, Nevada.
